Businesses Supporting a Village, Town or Parish Council Website

** This is intended to allow you to show your support for your locality whilst obtaining a business website for a nominal fee.

Please note that the package detailed below represents the "basic option", other options are available and if this one does not meet your needs, visit the business pages or contact me to discuss the matter further.  Whichever option you choose, for each supporting website £20 will be returned to the organising body of the main website.

The basic supporters option costs just £60 with £20 being returned to the organising body!  This consists of a up to 3 pages and 6 photographs it will share the style of the main website and be linked directly to it, but your pages would contain information specific to you.  You would also be able use the website address independently on your business cards, letterheads and advertising e.g. www.pirton.co.uk/thefoxph.htm.  If you require your own specific website address e.g. www.thefox.co.uk ** choose one of the business packages available.

** subject to availability and ISP terms and conditions

After you have seen what is offered in this page and the sample provided, if you want to see details of the other business packages available, return to the main page    and selecting  , or

The contents of your website might typically include any of the following or indeed any others that you can think of:
Businesses, Pubs, Restaurants etc
Introduction
History
Contact Information and opening times
Services provided / products sold
Photographs of premises
Photographs of work done or events
Menus

Photographs of products
Facilities Available
Photograph Gallery
Links to associated business' or suppliers websites
What's New Page

& I am sure that you could think of more!

We must obviously give the content of your site considerable thought in order to get the most out of it, this can be done in conjunction with as much or little advice from the web designer as you require.

Some items that you should give consideration to are given below:

To get the most out of the website you should include the address and e-mail address (if you intend to use one) in your advertising, letterheads, business cards etc at the earliest opportunity, i.e. at next reprinting.
I will need information from you, typically:
Some information about your business, e.g. the name, a logo (if you have one), address, telephone and fax  numbers, address, e-mail address (if you already have one), an introduction to your company
The services or goods that you offer
Opening times, terms of business etc.
I strongly recommend using photographs to liven up the website - if you don't have any to start with, then they can be added later, as detailed in the package, free of charge.

You may not think that your business can provide them, but it could be a picture of you, your sign written van, the tools of your trade, before and after photographs, jobs completed, or part completed e.g. grasses/hedges half cut, borders half weeded, a room half decorated.  Start thinking about it and you will realize that there are always photographic opportunities.  If you cannot take your own photos, ask a friend or I can provide the service.

If you do not wish to produce your own photographs or text
this service can be arranged at an extra cost.

I have included a sample site, which can be accessed via the button at the foot of the page.  This is a typical example of a £60 package with £20 being returned to the organisers.  You can return to this page at any time by selecting the button, which you will find on the left hand side of you screen:

Once you have seen enough and if you are interested in a website, please visit the Terms and Conditions page.  I know that this will be the boring bit! but you need to know what you will get for your money and this is where you will find out.
